So as to valorize its food products, the City of Pozzolengo has established the De.C.O. - Denomination City of Origin. The aim is to protect the productive and organoleptic distinctiveness of certain products that constitute a cultural and economic patrimony for the region, including the “Salame Morenico di Pozzolengo”.

This special seal of quality showing the city of origin (seen here on the left), with relative regulations for production methods, was established to give both producers and consumers assurances about the actual ingredients used in the “Salamis”.
